This cover has a variety of colors and the text is all around the main idea of the magazine. A majority of the text is in black. The cover title and one other article is in a fuchsia color. The reason for the one article being in a different color may be because it is the main article in the magazine and best one. This can be inferred because it sticks out the most compared to the other article titles. The articles are spread evenly throughout the magazine. In between the articles, there are ads. For this issue in particular, you can tell that the issue is about interior design on how to have an authentic "Texas makeover". The print reach for southern living in 2019 was at 16,000,000. Southern living holds a lot of contests for their readers to enter and win awards such as "Best home" or "Best makeover"
